According to U.S. Attorney Doug Howard, no other information can be released at this time, per U.S. Department of Justice policy.

UPDATE (3:45):

Upon searching through comments on Facebook and reviews of Strunk’s practice, it appears that there were problems with him over-prescribing medication to patients before.

These sentiments also appear in Strunk’s reviews on Vitals.com, with one client saying he “just writes the script and walks away.”

UPDATE:

More of Strunk’s clients have spoken up, this time in support of the psychiatrist.

One client said he has never come off as a pill pusher and that he provided good treatment.

“I wouldn’t be here without doctors, including Strunk!” Darrin Myers told News 18. “He helped my wife and I through the whole ordeal.”

Another supporter emailed us, telling us that many of his patients love him.

“Dr. Strunk may have some people talking trash about him right now so that’s what you’re hearing about, but he also has A LOT of support from real patients who love and depend on him,” the person wrote.
