I Heart Media says it’s popular morning duo, Dan Brennan and Shelby Mitchell on 95 KSJ will be moving to afternoons. The duo made the announcement on their ‘Breakfast Club’ show on Wednesday.
The move is being made to make way for the Nashville based Bobby Bones Show. Bones has proven to be a popular draw for the media conglomerate across the country. His show is syndicated nationwide.
But the changes are not all bad for Dan and Shelby. They say along with not having to get up as early in the morning, they’ll be able to participate in more local interests and promotions, that will no doubt be reflected in their new afternoon drive broadcast. And they say for country music fans, having Bobby Bones on in the morning is a plus, since he is based in Nashville, where the popular stars of country music make appearances often.
The changes take effect on July 4th.
