The University of Alabama wasn’t a huge fan of what famous TV news anchor Tom Brokaw said about them at this past weekend’s Ole Miss graduation.
Brokaw quipped that “if I were speaking at Alabama, I would have to use smaller words and shorter sentences” while addressing the Ole Miss commencement crowd.
UA released a statement Sunday in response.“Thirty-six percent of the freshman class at the University of Alabama has an ACT score of 30 or higher. This places Alabama in the top 5% in the country. Our numbers speak for themselves,” said the statement.
You can watch the whole speech on the Ole Miss YouTube feed.
