“Smokey and the Bandit” re-released in theaters

The Bandit is racing back into theaters. A-M-C will re-release “Smokey And The Bandit” at 240 locations from September 12th through the 20th, to honor the passing of Burt Reynolds.  Deadline reports the action-comedy was the second highest grossing film of 1977.  Reynolds died at the Jupiter Medical Center in Jupiter, Florida, on September 6, 2018. He was 82 years old.
