Six-year-old twins from Ohio save toddler from drowning while on vacation

Twin boys from Ohio are credited with saving a three-year-old girl from drowning in a pool while on vacation in Florida.

Now, Peyton and Bryant Switzer are being called heroes.

The twins say they could tell the girl was drowning because her head was going underwater, WTOL reported.

“Then she jumped in and Peyton jumped in and put her arm around her and then he bring her to the ladder and I helped her out,” said Bryant.

Their parents say they are very comfortable in the water and credit activities they are involved in for helping them know when someone is drowning.

“You know it’s very rewarding to know that some of the things they are involved with just became an instinct to them! So being in the swimming lessons and being a part of Safety Town they just recognized that the little girl was in trouble right away,” said the twins’ stepfather, D.J. Deiter.

This week, the boys were recognized by state representatives or what they did.
