Severe weather kills cow in Missouri

BARTON COUNTY, Mo. (CBS Newspath) – Severe storms are causing damage across a wide swatch of the U.S. Thursday.  In Barton County, Missouri winds blew apart a barn and even killed a cow. 90-year-old Bob Gariss woke up to find his barn hit, trees ripped up and his roof damaged. He also found one of his cattle killed. Gariss’ neighbors and family came together to help clean up the debris today. The Gariss home was not destroyed. The cow that was killed will be sent to a slaughter house.
