President Trump personally pays for Clemson’s fast food at White House

WASHINGTON (WFLA/CNN Newsource) – President Trump treated the Clemson Tigers out of his own pocket as the team came to the White House.

The president said he personally paid for the food served to the team Monday night.

According to Trump, the menu included McDonald’s, Wendy’s, Burger King and pizza.

Clemson University was celebrating the national college football title it clinched last week.

The White House said much of its residence staff has been furloughed because of the government shutdown.

The president decided to pay for the catering himself.
