Fisher-Price warns about Rock ‘n Play after 10 infant deaths

(KRON) – The Consumer Product Safety Commission has issued a warning about the safety of the Fisher-Price Rock ‘n Play products after the reported deaths of 10 infants.

According to officials, the deaths — which date back to 2015 — happened when the infants rolled from their back onto their stomach or side.

Officials said all 10 of the babies were three months of age or older.

CPSC is advising parents to stop using the Rock ‘n Play once their baby reaches three months of age, or whenever the child starts demonstrating the ability to roll over (whichever comes first).

Officials also recommend parents use restraints whenever their baby is in an “inclined sleepy product.”
