First responders attend race for free after helping with Dale Earnhardt Jr. crash

CARTER COUNTY, Tenn. (WJHL) – Last night’s race was extra special for some local emergency responders.

The Carter County Sheriff’s Office shared these photos to Facebook, showing personnel taking in the sights and sounds from Bristol Motor Speedway.

We had a great time with our first responder family at the BMS night race! A big thank you to NASCAR for giving us and all the agencies that responded to Dale Jr.'s plane crash free tickets!
