Banker pays tuition for high school’s entire graduating class

LUCK, WI (WCMH) — A businessman has offered a generous gift to students at a Wisconsin high school.

The first day of school started with a bit of good fortune for the class of 2019 at Luck High School.

All 34 seniors will get free tuition at a two-year technical school if they graduate!

The gift comes courtesy local businessman Dennis Frandsen.

He said he focused on vocational college because there are so many scholarships for four-year schools and a shortage of skilled workers like electricians and plumbers.

This isn’t his first time acting as benefactor, either.

Frandsen is also paying for post-secondary education for seniors at a high school near his company headquarters in Minnesota.

The Frandsen Family Foundation pays for college tuition for students in small towns.
