There are several bullet holes inside the Shoppes at Bel Air. Photos show damage to a wall and a kiosk.

Police say two men got into an argument Tuesday evening and one fired multiple shots. Fortunately no one was injured, but the gunfire caused chaos inside the mall.

Krista Taylor works in Victoria’s Secret. She says when they released shots were being fired, employees tried to bring as many people inside as they could and secure the door.

“My manager comes rushing out and she opens the emergency door,” said Taylor. “We’re trying to rush everyone out trying to make sure no one was in the way and then we immediately go back and shut the gates. We found people hiding in clothes racks, found people hiding in dressing rooms. It was crazy.”

One woman who was shopping in a different store said at first she thought it was an active shooter.
“By being so many shots, you couldn’t tell if it was a shooter just shooting anybody randomly or if it was someone trying to shoot somebody because it was coming fast and there were a lot of shots,” said Sinead Crandle.

Police are still looking for the men they say were involved in the shooting. If you have any information call Mobile Police at 251-208-7211.
