MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — The family of Officer Clayton Graham is happy to see an arrest in a crash that left him seriously injured in January.

Shannon Foreman turned herself in Wednesday. She faces assault charges for a head-on collision involving officer Graham that happened back in January.

“We feel it’s about time,” said Georgia Landry, Graham’s mother-in-law. “Because she has changed the course of his life.”

Family members say Officer Graham still has a very long road to recovery, with several series injuries and surgeries ahead.

While he saw initial improvements, his health has declined.

Still, his wife and mother-in-law remain hopeful.
