Mobile, Ala. (WKRG) — Mobile Police continue to investigate after a shooting on Dauphin Island Parkway that killed two men and injured three more.  This was the scene Friday night outside 515 Dauphin Island Parkway.  Neighbors say the home at that location is being renovated and the shooting happened behind the house in the backyard.  This man asked us not to show his face.

“It’s sad man, sad man, sad man, though. I just got a phone call, it was the wrong phone call man,” said the man who did not want to be identified. Saturday morning old police tape still lay around the neighborhood. Police say they responded for a call of shots fired at about 9:30 Friday night. Two men–ages 27 and 38 were taken to the hospital and later died from their injuries. Their names have not been released. Police say three other men ages 39, 38 and 17 suffering from gunshot wounds connected to this shooting showed up at local hospitals.  Police arrested 29-year-old Cedric Williams and charged him with two counts of murder and assault.

“It’s pretty bad, all I can say,” said Dan William who lives nearby.  The suspect was booked into Metro jail just before nine Saturday morning.  He will likely have a bond hearing this week.  Jail records say the suspect has been booked into Metro jail at least six other times since 2010.
