MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — Mobile Police have arrested two people for allegedly using encoded credit cards at Belk in a local mall.
Police say on Saturday, February 2 around 3 p.m. police responded to Belk at The Shoppes at Bel Air on Airport Blvd in reference to two people being detained for using encoded credit cards. Both suspects had fled from the officer but were apprehended. Police say they were found to be in possession of duplicated encoded credit cards. Billy Lewis, 23, was arrested and charged with Encoded data Fraud (4Counts), Assault 2nd (2 Counts), Resisting Arrest. Kenreil Brown was arrested and is charged with Resisting Arrest, Failure to obey, disorderly conduct. The investigation is ongoing.
