Suspect in 2016 double homicide in Mobile County pleads guilty

MOBILE, Ala. (WRKG) — A man charged with two counts of murder in Mobile County has pleaded guilty to the crimes.

Steven Weaver was accused of shooting and killing Douglas and Lisanne McKinney in 2016.

Weaver was sentenced to life in prison.

Today, Steven Weaver pled GUILTY to 2 counts of Murder. The defendant is responsible for the deaths of Douglas McKinney and Lisanne Mckinney in 2016. Weaver was sentenced to two LIFE sentences that will run consecutively. pic.twitter.com/9WevILn8GH
