Police: 2-year-old boy taken to Mobile hospital after eating marijuana cookie

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — A 2-year-old boy was taken to a Mobile hospital after Mobile Police say he had eaten a marijuana cookie. 

Police say officers responded to USA Children’s and Women’s Hospital on Saturday, February 16 for a report of a 2-year-old boy who was brought in after eating a marijuana-laced cookie. 

Police say DHR was called to the hospital and the child would be placed in the custody of his grandmother. 

Police continue to investigate.
