Prosecutors say that a second suspect is wanted in connection with the shooting death of Richard Smith-Mose on Mohawk Street. Smith-Mose was shot and killed while he sat in his car outside his parents’ house on Sunday night, June 24.
Jaden Little, 17, was arrested Thursday night and charged with murder after his mother turned him into Police. At his bond hearing Friday morning, Judge Bob Sherling set Little’s bond at $75,000. Little’s mother was not present in court.
Assistant District Attorney Jennifer Wright says Little admitted to being at the scene but claims someone else shot Smith-Mose. Prosecutors also told Judge Sherling that surveillance video collected from the area shows two people running from the scene and evidence collected includes shell casings from two different guns.
Wright says the second suspect is not in custody at this time.
Little is scheduled back in court Monday morning.
