MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — A new federal courthouse is opening in Mobile on Friday.
The courthouse at 155 St. Joseph Street will serve as the new home for the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Alabama
U.S. Senators Richard Shelby and Doug Jones will be on hand for a ribbon cutting ceremony at 2:00 p.m.
Attorney General Jeff Sessions is also expected to attend.
Several judges will also be at the ceremony, as well as the courthouse’s lead designer and architect.
