MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — Over at Cooper Riverside Park today it was the first Mobile River Food and Music Festival.
The event highlighted local restaurants and musical acts. Donations of canned goods were the ticket for food and drink samples. It was also a great way for people to celebrate Cinco de Mayo.
News 5 spoke with Co-Founder Executive Director A Servants Love, Lisa Davis. “We just love the city, we are working to help our community. So we just thought hey, Lets put them together,” Davis says.
Proceeds from tonight benefit the local non-profit ‘A Servants Love.’ A group providing food to families in need.
