Welcome to WKRG’s “Mark Your Calendar” for Monday, March 11, 2019.  Bill Riales welcomes Jodie Cain Smith to talk about the Mobile Literary Festival.

Join Carolyn Haines, Rob Holbert, Linda Busby Parker, Adam Prince, Bill Riales, Sue Brannan Walker and many more Gulf Coast authors and literary talent. Saturday, March 16 at the Ben May Main Library. 701 Government Street, Mobile, Alabama. 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM.

You can also shop the local author book sale and tour the interactive Maurice Sendak Memorial Exhibition. Learn from award-winning authors in FREE creative writing workshops and Panel Discussions designed to benefit writers of all levels. 

Be entertained during the Brown Bag Lunch and listen featuring NEGATIVE CAPABILITY PRESS. Be inspired by Mobile’s youth with performances by the authors featured in 2019 Both Sides of the Bay Teen Magazine.

This free festival is brought to you by the Mobile Public Library, Mobile Writers’ Guild, Metro Mobile Literacy Council, The haunted Book Shop and the Friends of the Mobile Public Library.
