MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — A Mobile coffee truck went to Florida to help support those who were affected by Hurricane Michael by giving away coffee and other goods.

Yellowhammer Coffee says they wanted to help and serve after watching the aftermath of Hurricane Michael.

They left for Marianna and Lynn Haven, Florida on Monday October 22 to give away coffee, smoothies, frappes, water, and family products.

When the Yellowhammer truck arrived, they posted on their Facebook page about a woman who came up with tears saying, “Bless you for doing this. I haven’t had a smoothie in forever. I’ve lived here my whole life and never gone through anything like this.”

The company is also asking for those who want to get involved, you can follow this link to give any amount that they say will go straight to people who need it in Florida.

The company says, “This isn’t just Yellowhammer giving away coffee. This is the people of Mobile, Semmes, and our entire Yellowhammer Coffee family giving hope to our neighbors in Florida.”
