Grand jury indicts two Mobile men on capital murder charges

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — A grand jury has indicted two people on capital murder charges in connection with a double murder.

Treshun Hughes and Larry Jackson are charged in the shooting deaths of Brandon Cadwell and Reginald Crenshaw on Gulfwood Drive in September 2017.

Jackson was arrested days after the shooting. Hughes was arrested in March 2018.

This week, a grand jury in Mobile upgraded the charges to capital murder, according to court documents filed in the case.

Crenshaw was the son of a Mobile County Public School System school board member.
