Mobile, Ala. (WKRG) — The funeral service is tomorrow for Kelsey Nobles.  The 18-year-old Mobile Navy recruit died in boot camp training two weeks ago likely from cardiac arrest.  The service will be at Cottage Hill Baptist Church at 10 am on Monday.

“She led a life of influence and impact for others,” said lead Pastor Alan Floyd.  “We can’t do much for Kelsey but we can celebrate her life, honor God and bring comfort to the family.”  She also attended Cottage Hill Baptist.

“Whether you live 18 years, 38 years or 108 years live your life in such a way to make an impact,” said Pastor Floyd.  “Some of the other recruits talked about her kindness, commitment and they also talked about her faith.”  Despite the terrible loss, the service also serves to celebrate Kelsey’s life and faith.

“God hears our cries He knows our hurts and pains even though there are no easy answers in the midst we must try to trust Him and know God is a good god,” said Floyd.
