MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — The Mobile community has come together to donate food and auction items for a fundraiser in honor of fallen Mobile Police Officer Sean Tuder.

The fundraiser will be held at the Azalea Manor on Sunday, February 10 from 11 am to 4 p.m. The event will include music, food, and an auction.

All proceeds raised will go directly to Tuder’s wife, Krissy.

Organizer Sharon Summerlin posted on the event page Monday evening thanking everyone who has helped in the less than 12 hours after the event was posted. She says they have enough food to feed 2500-3000 people. Summerlin says they are now recruiting people to help on the day of the event. Volunteers should arrive at 10 a.m. and stay as long as they can.

Organizers have asked that all monetary donations be sent through the Mobile Police Department.

The group organizing the fundraiser also plans to pass out water bottles for the officers involved in the funeral on Friday.  If you want to donate water, the deadline is 4 p.m. Thursday, Jan 24. at Costco in Mobile.
