UPDATE (5:52 p.m.): Mobile Police released more details about a fight that happened at Williamson High School.

One fight broke out at the school involving students. While the students were fighting, two men were outside armed with guns. Mobile Police said the two men did not fight. Antonio Pettaway, 18, and Clifton Granderson, 20, were charged with possession of a deadly weapon on school grounds.

The 14-year-old and 16-year-old girls involved in the other fight, which happened inside the cafeteria, were taken to Strickland Youth Center for disorderly conduct, according to Mobile Police.

UPDATE: Mobile County Public Schools said there was one fight at Williamson High School Monday, one in the cafeteria between students. Two men were also outside the school, but did not fight. MCPS said Williamson was placed on lockdown.

MCPS said they do not know if the two incidents are related.

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — Mobile Police said officers responded to Williamson High School on Monday about a disorderly complaint involving students. Police said two were detained.

Police said the investigation is ongoing and no other information is available at this time. Police said they would provide additional information.
