MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — Leading up to Officer Tuder’s funeral on Friday, mourners are honoring the fallen hero by leaving mementos on his patrol car.
Some left flowers, others left a card for Officer Tuder’s wife Krissy, and some knelt in prayer.
“My heart just aches for his wife and his family,” said Lana Sharpe. “He’s out trying to keep us safe and I just hate it happened.”
Sherri Graham says Officer Tuder responded to a 911 call she made when he was working in the first precinct.
“He was a good guy,” said Graham. “Very quiet, but he listened to the community and I’m proud to be in the precinct where he was a member of our law enforcement team.”
If you want to drop off something at Officer Tuder’s patrol car, it will be outside of Police Headquarters on Government Boulevard until 5 p.m.
