The Coast Guard rescued a disabled vessel about 35 miles south of Dauphin Island, Alabama, Saturday.
Coast Guard Sector Mobile was alerted of the disabled vessel around 10:04 a.m. An approximate location of the vessel was determined and a Response Boat-Medium crew was sent from the Coast Guard Station Dauphin Island. Also, an HC-144 Ocean Sentry airplane crew was sent to the vessel.
Aircrews arrived at the scene 12:52 p.m. and the boatcrew arrived around 2:25 p.m. to tow the vessel.
The boat was taken too Little Billygoat Hole Ramp in Dauphin Island.
