Outside a home on Fulton Street early Saturday morning Sean Phinney said he heard a commotion and then saw their family cat Winkie being dragged away by three dogs. Phinney says he’s trying to spread the word.
“It could be an issue of cats versus dogs a lot of people don’t value cats so they don’t get the same kind of attention the way these dogs act they’re very brazen,” said Sean Phinney. He believes the dogs he saw are the same ones caught on camera in midtown over the summer other homeowners reported seeing attack their pets.
“It’s now time for people to band together and try to get them themselves or try to contain these dogs or catch them with the help of citizens,” said Phinney. People who live in this midtown neighborhood say this latest incident makes them concerned for their own safety and the safety of others.
“I mean it’s wrong to let your dogs out like that, if it is someone intentionally letting them out, it concerns me that if I were out with my small dog they could just as easily attack a dog or a person,” said neighbor Bonnie Williams.
