MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — Mobile Police say three people were hurt when someone fired at a parked car on Barker Drive West Saturday night.  According to an email from an MPD Spokesman:

On Saturday, March 16, 2019 around 11 p.m. the victims were sitting in a vehicle parked in the driveway at the 1200 block of Barker Drive West when another vehicle drove past them firing shots. All three victims sustained minor injuries and were transported to the hospital.

This is the fifth shooting since this weekend involving an injury or death.  It started Friday night in a shooting on Dauphin Island Parkway that killed two people and injured three others.  Later that same evening Mobile Police responded after a 49-year-old man allegedly forced his way into a home and was shot several times on Lucille Street.  Saturday afternoon a man was shot in the arm on Azalea Road.  One person was injured in a shooting on Tuttle Avenue Saturday evening.
