UPDATE: 3:40pm Tuesday
The search continues for 12-year old Ian Clark, a Theodore boy last seen Saturday on Creel Road.
His mother tells News 5 he may be a passenger in a 2009 Black Chevy Trailblazer, stolen from his grandparents. However, she does not believe he is the driver. She is also unsure who he is with and who could be driving the vehicle.
The Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office confirms it’s on the lookout for the stolen SUV and the 12-year old. The SUV was last seen Monday afternoon around 3 heading eastbound on I-10 through the tunnel towards Baldwin County.
ALEA describes him as 5’6, about 180 pounds, has brown hair and his mother says he has green eyes.
Ian’s mother tells News 5 he got in trouble Saturday morning and went outside upset.
She says it wasn’t until later in the afternoon that his grandparents realized their Chevy and grandson were missing.
However, Mobile Police says it didn’t receive the report about a stolen vehicle on Creel Road until about 2:30AM Monday. The agency also believes Ian Clark is a runaway.
Ian’s family says they’ve had no contact with the preteen since Saturday.
If you have any information on his whereabouts or the stolen vehicle, contact law enforcement immediately.
