MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) – Crews with Mobile Fire-Rescue have responded to an early morning fire in the 600 block of West Lancewood Drive. We’re told the call came in just after 5 a.m.
A woman and some young children were inside the home when the fire started, but they were able to get out in time.
Ashton Peterson’s future in-laws live in the home. She and her fiance live just a few doors down.
“He woke up, he was in his underwear and ran down here. Grabbed a water hose, tried to do what he could do,” she told us.
The cause of the fire is under investigaiton.
