SEMMES, Ala. (WKRG) —
UPDATE ( 4 p.m.) — The Mobile County Sheriff’s Office says the teenager they had in custody for making bomb threats at Mary G.Montgomery has been released. The investigation is still ongoing at this time. MCSO says he is still a suspect.
UPDATE (12 p.m.) — The Mobile County Sheriff’s Office says they arrested a 17-year-old for making bomb threats to Mary G. Montgomery HS Tuesday morning.
ORIGINAL STORY: Mobile County Sheriff’s deputies responded to Mary G. Montgomery High School for a report of a bomb threat. The Mobile County Public School System says a lockdown was placed as deputies and bomb dogs searched the school.
The school has been given the all-clear and lockdown has been lifted.
This comes on the first day of school for Mobile County Public Schools.
