‘Riding without malice’: Comic Cowboys parade in downtown Mobile

Mardi Gras

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG)– The Comic Cowboys have been “riding without malice” for 135 years in Mobile’s Mardis Gras celebration.

They are known for their comedic, satirical and sometimes risque floats

One of the floats took a shot at the Alabama football team saying “How big of a hole does it take to bury an elephant…the answer? A hole 44 by 16…the same score of the National Championship where Clemson defeated the Crimson Tide.

They also had floats taking jabs at President Trump, Alabama Governor Kay Ivey, and Mobile Mayor Sandy Stimpson.
