MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG)- Despite winter-like temperatures, thousands flocked to downtown Mobile for Lundi Gras parades.
This included the Infant Mystics, which rolled out around 7PM at Dauphin and Broad.
News 5 spoke to dozens of bundled-up patrons who tell us the sudden cold weather didn’t ruin Lundi Gras 2019 for them.
“I’m bundled up but it’s still enjoyable,” Alexis Ott, a Mobile resident, tells News 5.
Some kids were more disappointed about the cold than the adults. “I want it to be warm,” Allen Marsten, a Mobile boy tells our crew.
The cold temperatures will continue through Fat Tuesday with things warming up later this week.
