UPDATE: Foley Police identify, arrest Dollar General armed robbery suspects

UPDATE (8:50pm) — Foley Police were able to identify the suspects in the Dollar General armed robbery, they attribute to the help from tips residents gave them during their investigation. 

Arnold Gillard, 22, of Daphne and John Matthew Oshinski, 28, also of Daphne are in custody and will be charged with robbery 1st, according to Foley PD. 

Police were also able to recover the gun used in the robbery, along with the stolen merchandise. 

Foley Police say they would like to thank the public and everyone involved to help rapidly resolve the case and arrest of the suspects.

FOLEY, Ala. (WKRG) – Foley Police say the Dollar General near the intersection of Highway 59 and Satsuma Avenue was robbed around 2pm Thursday. Investigators say the man pulled out a semi-automatic handgun and took off with cash, Mountain Dew and other items. The man allegedly walked out of the store and got into the passenger side of a large gray pickup truck.  

The suspect was captured on surveillance cameras inside the store. 

Police say the suspect was a white man, about 5’4″ with medium build, short dark hair and a light beard and mustache. He was last seen wearing a gray Alabama hoodie and sunglasses.
