CLARKE COUNTY, Ala. (WKRG) — Tyler Dees of Deer Park said it took three hooks to get a 12 foot 537-pound reptile. He and his team captured the alligator on the Alabama River south of Jackson on Saturday, August 11th. Dees said Mike Odom of Citronelle got the first hook in the gator, Dees got the second hook in him and his sister in law, Crystal Dees got in the third and final hook. His brother, Thomas Dees, owned the tag. Dees said, “The Real Dream Team” has been hunting gators for years and this isn’t the largest gator they’ve captured. Alabama’s gator season ended on Sunday, August 19th.
