GROVE HILL, Ala. (WKRG) – UPDATE: Clarke County Sheriff Ray Norris has released new details on a crash that happened on Highway 43 in Grove Hill Thursday that involved a sheriff’s deputy.
Norris said the sheriff’s deputy struck the other vehicle on the front driver’s door and the car rolled over onto its roof. The driver of that vehicle was from Choctaw County. Airbags in both vehicles deployed, and the sheriff’s deputy and the other driver both just had bruises from the crash.
Alabama Law Enforcement Agency is now investigating the crash. Below are photos from the crash.
A Clarke County Sheriff’s Deputy was involved in a car crash along Highway 43 in Grove Hill Thursday night.
The 2- vehicle crash closed Highway 43 temporarily.
Both drivers were treated at Grove Hill Hospital.
