SUMMERDALE, Ala. (WKRG) — Baldwin County School officials say buses are ready to roll for the first day of school next week despite vandalism that occurred over the summer.

Spokesperson Terry Wilhite tells News 5 someone shot 49 bus windows at the Summerdale bus lot apparently with a BB or pellet gun.

At nearly 400 dollars a window, Wilhite says repairs have cost about 20-thousand dollars.  Since the vandalism, video surveillance has been set up.
