Mobile police looking for suspect who punched a man’s eye out

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — Mobile Police are looking for a man they say punched another man so hard he lost his eye.

Justin Leverett, 37, is wanted for assault.

Police say Everett argued with a man and fought him in the area of Live Oak Street and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Ave on Saturday, April 20 around 2:20 p.m.

Everett is accused of punching a victim in the face causing the eye to pop out of its socket. Then police say he punched the eyeball causing it to explode.

Leverett is 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs 185 pounds.
