TIBBIE, Ala. (WKRG) — Something is not right in Washington County and hasn’t been since early Sunday morning. That’s when 45-year-old Terri Gale Sullivan was reported missing and there is still no trace of her.
The last trace of Terri Gale Sullivan, her cell phone, was found on this dirt road shortly after she left for work early Sunday morning. “She has had some safety issues in the past with some individuals. I really can’t speak on that right now and we are very concerned,” says Sheriff Richard Stringer.
Half a mile down Clark Place Road in Tibbie, evidence of a scuffle according to investigators. Sullivan and the rental car she was driving, a white 2018 Chevy Impala with New York tag number HPR 4084 have not been seen since. Investigators say the cars “Onstar” system has been disabled.
“We do have some people who we are certainly interested in,” says Stringer.
Investigators have their work cut out for them finding clues in this disappearance in what is an incredibly remote area. They are asking hunters who may still be out in the woods this deer season if you see anything unusual please give them a call.
Also helping in the search for answers are five investigators with the State Bureau of Investigation.
“SBI has many more resources and any time you have seven sets of eyes looking it is better than two sets.” At this point, Sheriff Stringer says any help is welcomed.
Sullivan is a wife and mother. She is from Wilmer but had been spending time with her mother in Tibbie.
Investigators ask if you have any information that can help please call the Washington County Sheriff’s Office 251-847-2202.
