Florida polls show Governor and Senate races tight

Republicans in two key races in Florida are trailing in the latest polls on the heels of President Trump’s visit to Pensacola.

The race for Governor between Republican Ron DeSantis and Democrat Andrew Gillum shows DeSantis trailing by 3.1 percentage points based on the latest from realclearpolitics.com.

There is a slightly narrower gap in the race for U.S. Senate, showing Republican Rick Scott trailing by 2.5 percentage points behind Democrat and incumbent Bill Nelson.

President Trump campaigned for both during two rallies in Florida, in Ft. Myers, and the latest in Pensacola Saturday.
