Florida men charged in multiple car burglaries, identity thefts throughout Alabama

VESTAVIA HILLS, Ala. (WIAT) — On May 1, police officers from Vestavia Hills, Homewood and the Secret Service Financial Crimes Task Force arrested two suspects that had been involved in multiple car burglaries, identity thefts and credit card fraud throughout the state of Alabama.

Damien Waller, 25 of Tamarac, Fla. and Tazomi Natta, 28 of Plantation, Fla. are each arrested on multiple counts.

Waller is facing five counts of unlawful breaking and entering of a vehicle, four counts of third-degree theft of property, and fraudulent use of a credit card. His total bond is set at $115,000.

Natta is charged with five counts of unlawful breaking and entering of a vehicle and four counts of third-degree theft of property. His bond is set at $115,000.

Waller and Natta were targeting parking lots of gyms, pre-schools, daycares and recreation areas such as parks and walking tracks.
