AL State Troopers looking for minivan involved in deadly I-65 crash

ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Ala. (WKRG) — Alabama State Troopers are looking for a vehicle involved in deadly crash on I-65 early Saturday.

47-year-old Steven Stone Stewart of Nederland, Texas was killed when the SUV he was riding in collided with another vehicle and overturned.

The crash happened at around 12:10 a.m. Saturday near mile marker 67, about 16 miles west of Flomaton, according to state troopers.

The SUV’s driver, James Pittman, also from Nederland, was taken to a hospital in Atmore for treatment. 

Troopers say the other vehicle, believed to be a blue minivan, left the scene.
