BUDAPEST, Hungary (CNN) — Search crews are scouring the waters of the Danube River for 21 people still missing after a tourist boat collided with another ship and sank.
At least seven people were killed. Most tourists on the boat were from South Korea.
South Korean President Moon Jae-In ordered a rapid response team be sent in to help.
Some of those rescued were plucked from the water more than a kilometer downstream.
South Korea’s Foreign Ministry has been informed that none of the South Korean tourists from the capsized vessel were wearing life jackets at the time of the collision.
