Mobile County Animal Shelter closing due to COVID-19 exposure

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — The Mobile County Animal Shelter closed to the public Aug. 18 due to COVID-19 exposure, according to a post to the shelter’s Facebook.

The post said the shelter plans to reopen Monday, Aug. 30.

The shelter, located at 7665 Howells Ferry Road, is operated by the Mobile County Animal Control.
