In today’s Right This Minute Moment, a group of fishermen comes to the rescue of a deer on a river.
Three people in kayaks hear barking and discover a pack of dogs in the water going after a deer in a West Virginia waterway
They paddle over to help and chase the canines away.
The scared, exhausted and shivering deer stays close to one of their kayaks in the middle of the river, making sure it’s safe.
Eventually, the animal makes its way over to the bank.
The group decides to get out of their kayaks and head onto shore to give it some more room.
After a few more minutes, the deer catches its breath and runs off into the forest.
