FAIRHOPE, Ala. (WKRG) – When many people picture a biker they go right to the image of a member of “Hell’s Angels.” But the reality is most of them are really much closer to plain old angels from heaven. Thousands of bikers across the Gulf raise millions of dollars for good causes every year. And that’s what’s happening at the annual Angel Ride in Fairhope.
The beach, bands, and bikes. Saturday couldn’t have been a more beautiful day for it. The Angel Ride for special needs rolled out at the American Legion in Fairhope. The post is right on the waterfront and attendees got to listen to live music and eat food right on the beach. Over the years the ride has helped about 1,500 local families cover things that insurance does not.
This ride takes all year to plan and it’s not too early to think about next year. You can click here to find more information about the ride and other ways you can help.
