LUCEDALE, Miss. (WKRG) – The family of a biker killed this week in Mobile is hoping to send him on his final journey home in style with support of his other family…bikers.
53-year-old Mark Brannan died Thursday morning when is motorcycle hit a guardrail at a dead end in Tillman’s Corner. Police say Brannan was traveling south on Inn Road possibly unaware the road was a dead-end and hit the guard rail. Brannan was thrown from the motorcycle and died from his injuries, police reported. It was one of two deadly motorcycle cranes Thursday in the Mobile area.
Now his friends and family are asking for other bikers to show their support, not just for Brannan, but also a good cause. They will be riding Sunday night following funeral services. They would like as many motorcycles as possible to show up. Brannan’s family is also asking for donations to St. Jude Children’s Hospital instead of flowers.
The Black Top Posse MC is organizing the ride. Their full post is below, and more information can be found here: https://www.facebook.com/events/680457362419200?sfns=mo
