UPDATE: Arrest made in deadly motorcycle crash on I-10

We have new information about the victim.70-year-old Phillip Alread was the treasurer of the Motorcycle Awareness Campaign Granada Mississippi Chapter. He was on his way to the spring Thunder Beach rally in Panama City Beach.

“We have arrested and charged 24 year old Prentiss Angel-Imani Reese with the following crimes related to the traffic crash on I-10, which resulted in the death of 70 year old Phillip Aldread : Manslaughter , DUI- Controlled Substance, and Obstructing Justice by False Identification. Evidence showed that a Nissan Titan being driven by Reese collided with the trike being driven by Phillip Aldread. The impact caused the trike to leave the roadway, which resulted in the death of Mr. Aldread. 

Prentiss Reese is currently being held at the Daphne City Jail and will be transferred to the Baldwin County Jail soon. Reese currently has a Mobile address. Mr. Aldread was a native of Duck Hill, Mississippi and was traveling through the area en route to Panama City, Florida. “

UPDATE 9:23 am Thursday– An arrest has been made in Wednesday’s deadly crash on I-10 in Daphne. Investigators say the driver of the vehicle that collided with a Harley Davidson Trike has been arrested. Police say the woman was driving under the influence. She has not been identified. 

The driver of the Trike was killed.

DAPHNE, Ala. (WKRG) – A man riding a 3-wheeled motorcycle has died in a crash on I-10 in Daphne.

The crash happened at around 2:30 p.m. near the Bass Pro Shops. The man’s Harley Davidson Trike collided with another vehicle. The Trike was pulling a small trailer.

The left lane of eastbound I-10 is closed as the wreckage is cleared.

The man who died was from Mississippi, but his name has not been released.
