Two injured in Highway 59 crash in Robertsdale

ROBERTSDALE, Ala. (WKRG) — Part of Highway 59 was shut down in Baldwin County following a wreck that injured two people Monday.

One northbound lane of the highway was closed between County Road 48 and Fairground Road near the Robertsdale Walmart. One of the vehicles involved in the crash struck a propane tank.

A medical helicopter responded but did not transport anyone.

One person was taken by ambulance to South Baldwin Regional Medical Center, while the other was taken by ambulance to University Hospital in Mobile.
